We will need this information to complete a quote for your traveling saw. Below we’ve explained why we need each piece of information and why it is helpful.
Material Type
- We need to know the material we are dealing with; this can affect timing, blade design, and blade configuration, etc.
Approx. Material Temp at Saw (F)
- We need to know the process temp along with the material type that we are dealing with; this can affect setup, timing and blade material, etc.
Throughput Rate (fpm, feet per minute)
- This helps us understand the rate at which you need to produce material and if the equipment is sized correctly for your line.
- Note Novatec Traveling Saws are Full Servo for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Pipe or Profile
- This helps us understand how the saw will be expected to run, the blade design, etc..
Pipe – ID/OD
- This helps us understand how to size the saw, how it will be expected to run, and blade design, etc..
- We need both dimensions to show the wall thickness
Profile – Dimensions
- This helps us understand how to size the saw, how it will be expected to run, and blade design, etc..
